Hello crafty friends,
Welcome to another challenge over at Krafty Girls, today's challenge is to create a project with flowers, easy peasy right? Don't forget to enter you project over at Krafty Girls!  Today's card involved a couple of techniques one being the heat embossing and two coloring with the "Blendabilities" available to all of you late June to early July which you know I will keep you posted!

This close up photo will showcase the beautiful background stamp "En Frances" heat embossed.  I just realized that that the background stamp was retired, oops sorry guys!  You can certainly replace it with a similar background or create your own with your own sentiments.


My card is a standard A2 size card with my layer Very Vanilla and Rich Razzleberry having a 1/8 of inch perimeter.  The flowers are from the "Everything Eleanor" Stamp Set. I then colored the flowers with the Rich Razzleberry Consumable Blendabilities which are Awesome and totally affordable!!! 


I didn't think a sentiment was necessary on the front due to the 
background, however I did stamp a sentiment inside along with a flower.

A Simple Baptism/Christening Card

Hello crafty friends,
If you are in a pinch and need a fast and clean card for a Christening/Baptism this is a perfect card to create.  You can certainly alter the color and even add a little more if you wish.  I wanted to keep it clean and simple for my card which I created for my nephew's Baptism on Sunday.  

 I also made a video on this card which you can view HERE or on my YouTube Channel.  I also linked suggested product links below for retired items or different color options for paper or embossing:) Thank you for stopping by today and enjoy the rest of your day! 


Here is a close up of the heat embossed image.  To keep it even more simple you can simply just stamp the image and done! However, I decided to heat emboss my image which you can see the process on my video here and see how cool the embossing powder transforms a plane image to a more raise dimensional image. 


The cross come from the Stampin' Up! retired stamp set Crosses of Hope, but I will link a New stamp set by Stampin' Up! below called "Blessed by God"  to use as a replacement. Remember this is for a boy so I kept it simple but for a girl you can easily change the color and add ribbon and rhinestones:)

Hello my crafty friends,
Happy Saturday! I hope you all have fun plans for today. I have a lunch date with a girlfriend and then maybe a movie with my boys later on today:)

 Today's card is a simple but fabulous one showcasing the "Blessed Easter" single stamp from Stampin' Up! available in the Occasions Catalog.  I also used one of my favorites FREE products from the Sale-A-Bration catalog which by the way will end March 31, 2014. You can check out more details HERE.


I used my Stampin' Markers to color the flowers. I also die cut the center using the Starburst Framelits Collection Dies


I heat embossed the Sweet Friend which come from 
Scrappy Stamps stamp set that I got a while ago.
