2nd Post My Son's First Day of School

Hello Happy Crafters,
On a personal note: My son's first day of school was today awww!!!  He requested blueberry pancakes for breakfast for his first day of school and warm milk.  He was a little scared and looked like he wanted to cry, but I did to.  I waited until he went into the classroom.  All parents then were able to go in the class until all the kids got settled.   I blew him a kiss and said by :( He still looked like he wanted to cry but, I did tooo!! awww:(

Halloween Bat Card

Hello Happy Crafters,
I made this card last night and it turned out pretty cute with the glitter pom-poms and the cute green googlie eyes.  I added a little bling to the bats with Crystal stickles.  I had a little trouble with the MS punch but I had already embossed the Happy Halloween and it was late. My son starts kindergarten today OMG!!.  Thank you for visiting and enjoy:) I will post pictures of my son's first day of school later.

Happy Haunting Cartridge
Black base at 5-3/8" X 4-4/8"
1st Halloween pattern paper from Paper Reflections
Orange paper 4-5/8" X 3-1/4"
Bats cut at 1-1/4"
Orange layer cardstock embossed with (Boo For You cuttlebug folder)
Glitter Pom-poms for the bats body
Googlie green eyes
Happy Halloween stamped with craft whisper white and embossed with MS emboss
Happy Halloween stamp from Fiskars (Halloween Night)
Sparkles stickles used for bats wings
Adhesive and 3D dimensionals
Envelope with bat stamp and stickles

** Snow Globe Shaker Card Challenge**

Hello Happy Crafters,
I'm so excited because this is my 1st challenge entry.  Robyn, at My Pink Stamper asked that we create a WINTER card, scrapbook or project with a winter theme.   I have created a  Snow Globe Shaker card with a 2-3/4" circle in the middle with glitter and snowflakes.  I think it turned out pretty CUTE!!  I hope you all like it :) ENJOY!!!

              
               Recipe
  • Joys of the Season Cartridge
  • Globe bottom base cut at 4 1/4" in red
  • White Whisper base at 5 1/2  X 8 1/2" (folded into 5-1/2"" X 4-1/4")
  • 1st layer from Jack Frost /ATD Specialty paper
  • I used the D'vine Swirl cuttlebug folder to emboss the red base of the globe
  • I made a 4 x 3-1/2" square with cellophane or use a cellophane bag
  • Martha Stewart Crystal and Sterling glitter with snowflakes inside the bag and seal very good
  • 4 x 3-1/2" vellum square behind the cellophane bag
  • I used Taken Teal from SU to touch up the snowflakes with color
  • I used the Martha Stewart circle cutter to make the 2-3/4" circles 
  • Ribbon and adhesive (Lots of it LOL!)
  • Seasons Greetings sentiment from SU(stamped inside the card in Taken Teal) 
  • Stickels used for the circle from the outside

Flowers on Hair Clip

Hello everyone,
I saw a project that Karlee made on Friday and I just had to try it. I made a hair clip and a hair band with flowers.  Check out her cool project at karleekraftsblogspot.com  This was a super cute project.  Karlee's  flowers turned out much better than mines :(   Visit her blog SUPER CUTE project.






























































































































I used a 3" satin ribbon and cut five circles at different layers.
Used a lighter to shrink the outer circles
Glue gun to put together the layers and rhinestones
Diamond stickles for the outer circles
Hair band and a hair clip.

**Flower Thank You Card**

Good Morning Happy Crafters,
I made this card for one of my son's preschool teachers.  As today is his last day of preschool and his off to Kindergarten on August 31st awww!!! I'm very emotional because his growing up so fast and this only confirms it.  I'm sure I'll be sobbing first day of school where as, he'll be I'm OK mom I'm a big boy.  I hope you enjoy this card.

*Back to School Organizer*

Hello everyone, I hope you all had a great weekend!! Over the weekend I made this organizer for one of my nieces who started college today.
