Hello crafty friends,
Today is our challenge over at Decorate to Celebrate. For Challenge #78, we are asking you to create Fourth of July or Birthday Decorations! Let's celebrate EVERYTHING WONDERFUL ABOUT FIREWORKS, SPARKLERS, FREEDOM or BIRTHDAYS. I created these mini notebooks that would be perfect to pass out in any girlie Birthday party goodie bag.

Please make sure to visit Decorate to Celebrate and check out the the Design Team projects!  Thank you for stopping by today and enjoy.  You will be able to order the Blendabilities starting July 1, 2014 more info below:)

I was inspired to create these cute mini notebooks after watching a
video by Nicole. These are very easy and quick to put together. You
could also make many of these at a birthday party with each guest
initials that attended and put in their goodie bags!

Stampin' Up!'s  Moonlight Paper Stack is perfect to make these
mini notebooks since they measure 4-1/2 X 6-1/2.  Take one sheet
and fold it in half and round the corners on all four sides. Take some
copy paper and cut as many as you would like at 3-3/8 X 4-3/8 and
round all the corners. You can either staple the paper to the cover or
sew them like I did on mine.  I hope you liked them:)

Hello crafty friends,
Did you guys notice my New Social icons? Well, I had Veronica from VK Designs add some options to my tabs above such as in my Gallery Tab you will be able to find my cards under sections for example, Birthdays, Kids, Thank You etc. I still need to add some of my cards to each section so please bare with me. Finally, she was able to transfer all my email subscribers over to a new service. I hope you like the addition and stay connect with me via my social medias and please don't forget to Subscribe via E-Mail so you don't miss any of my blog posts:)

As for today's card, I thought I would join Cas(E) this Sketch  &  Fusion. I love to heat emboss and since this sketch called for some gold, I decided to take out my gold emboss powder and go to town:) I hope you like it and get inspired to create! Thanks for stopping by and have a fabulous day!!

A close up of all the embossing, this picture really doesn't do the card justice.

I used the Dictionary background which I inked with Versamark and used the Stampin' Gold embossing powder and heated it with the Heat tool.  You will know the embossing powder has set once it starts to turn shiny and raised.
