Punch Potpourri Scalloped card

Hello my friends,
You know how I told you all that I had a lot of birthdays in November and December well, here is another birthday card!!! I promise I will get some Christmas cards in this week.

I'm a little burnt out of making birthday cards but I'm excited since today I made a round scalloped card which I love.  This card is for my mother-in-law.  I used the lavender paper again on this card because it's one of her FAVORITE colors.  The card turned out OK, I wasn't very pleased with it, and OMG did I ever have a hard time with that BOW!! I may just make her another one I don't know.

Alright enough complaining, so here it is.  Enjoy and have a great day!!!

Embossed the yellow circle with D'Vine Swirl
Heart and Bird stamp is from Stampin Up{Punch Potpourri}
Pearls from Martha Stewart
White gel pen for stitching

Base is cut at 5-1/2" X 5-1/2" with the Gypsy card stock from {SU}
Lavender paper is from Making Memories which I got @
Tuesday Mornings for $1.99 for a pack & cut @4-3/4"
Yellow circle is cut at 4-1/4"

Prima Flower I sponged with Lavender Lace craft ink
Ribbon from Michael's
Happy Birthday stamp from My
Pink Stamper{Family and Friends}
The heart was inked with Lavender lace craft and
embossed with the MS emboss powder
Scalloped base was cut from Wild Card
The circles were cut from Mini Monograms

  4. Looks great to me! Although - I know how it feels to just not be satisfied with a card - usually I stuff it away for a couple days and come back to it with fresh eyes, often it won't look as bad to be after the "mistakes" aren't fresh in my mind.
