Fabulous Hearts and Butterflies

Hello My crafty Friends,
Happy Monday and I hope you all had a fantastic weekend!! Today, I have a Spring Side Card not my typical standard A2 size card.  I saw a tutorial on SplitCoastStamper's on how to create this card and you should check it out HERE.   I used our "NEW" Fashionable Hearts embosslits die along with Beautiful Wings embosslits LOVE these too! I used the Framelits die{Hearts Collection} for the big heart 

and a smaller one for the center!! I also embossed the center Daffodill Delight heart with the hearts Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. You can watch my video HERE on how to use the Framelits.

Here is a side view of the card! The Poppy Parade heart was popped up with 2 stacked Stampin' Dimensionals through the heart. I stamped the corner with Bordering Romance Stamp Set and added the Pool Party tiny embossed butterfly.

This is the inside of the card. I used the Pinking Hearts Border Punch, added the hearts from the Fashionable Hearts embosslits die, the sentiment was stamped in Poppy Parade Ink and used the Friendly Phrases Stamp set.

Hip-Hip-Hooray!! it's your Special Day!

Hello My Crafty Friends,
I hope you are all having a great weekend!! My Gallbladder Surgery went well on Friday and I'm ALIVE LOL!!! I'm resting and doing well with pain medication but, had to make this card for a little girl's birthday party that my son will attend today.  My husband of course will be taking our son to the birthday party since I'm in no condition to party LOL!!! OK on to my card for today.......the card measures 3" X 6" & I used a retired hostess stamp set called Birthday Bakery and retired Pink Passion card stock with some designer paper{Pawsitively Prints#118060} from the clearance section HERE.  I colored the cakes with our wonderful affordable markers & added Dazzling Diamonds to the yummy cakes.  I also decorated the inside of the card & even an envelope :)  I think it turned out pretty cute if I do say so myself! I'm also loving our "NEW" ribbons and the one I used today is the Scallop Dots Melon Mambo ribbon!!  Don't forget to stop by Monday,  I will be giving away this stamp set along with many other goodies for my Blog Anniversary!!!! Thank you for stopping and taking the time to comment!!
