  1. WOW, awesome, i've seen bloggers use that twine and it just adds a great detail to projects. TFS!
Best valentine date... my hubby made reservations at a italian restaurant and had a single rose delivered ahead of time for our table. We had a great date night and surprised me with a puppy that was my favorite breed. A yellow lab....ahhhh just thinking about it makes me

  2. I've been wanting to get some twine for sometime now. My hubby and I went to Melting Pot (a fondue restaurant) Hubby wasn't to happy about going but went for me.It's now our favorite place to go for special occations.

  3. Great project. I too have been wanting to get some twine after seeing others use on their cards. I love the look of it and the colour it adds. Unfortunately I do not have a best valentines date as I haven't had one before but its understandable seeing as I'm still a teenager!! Lol!

  4. Hi Norma! How fun that you had a stampin up class! Those are so much fun! Thanks for a chance to win! My best Valentine's Day was 4 & 1/2 yrs ago when I got to spend it with my husband for the 1st time as husband and wife! I got catering from our favorite place and made some delicious cupcakes! And best of all that he always finds the simplest way to say I love you!

  5. Hi Norma, your class sounded like so much fun, gee if only i could have been there.and its sad to say that Valentines day is really not that big of a thing over here so i dont have any stories to tell.
    xx Linda
ps dont put me in the comp as i live too far away.
pps the spools are a fantastic idea

  6. Hey Norma, love the way you have package the twine.....great idea! I love stampin up products and enjoy all of your creations.

Like Linda, I'm to far away too don't put me in the draw...just wanted to comment.

  7. Oh, how I would LOVE to win some twine. Glad you had such a good time. I wish I could meet more people where I live and craft together. One day!

  9. Love the twine! I am going to date myself here: My soon to be hubby took me to NYC to see Gone With The Wind on Valentine's Day :) Lucy

  10. What a great giveaway. I have wanted to try a project adding some pretty twine. My best Valentine date was 30 yrs ago when I went on the first date with my now hubby. We to the fair and he asked me to go steady on top of the ferris wheel and 30 yrs later we are still madly in love! Thanks for the chance to win. AJ

  11. Hi Norma,
I was looking for some twine yesterday; couldn't find any, so would love to win some. One year, my hubby sent roses to me at work for Valentine's day and they were the most beautiful peach color ones I've ever seen, and the card read, "You're a peach! Happy Valentine's Day"

  12. Norma - sounds like you had a fab time at the workshop. The twine set is brilliant. My best Valentine's date actually took place on 15th Feb! It's the first time I met my husband - we met via Dateline - it was fantastic. He's my best friend, lover, soul mate and companion - and I wouldn't be without him!! And we didn't stop talking all night!

  13. My best Valentine's Day is spent with my favorite little man, my son, Brady. We always do fondue for dinner and homemade brownies for dessert...delish!

    Just Julie

  14. So cool =) Tvine adds something special to your projects =) I am already a follower and I am soso happy I am.

As for my best valentine date... I have yet to have one =( And last years valentine was horrible, so cant even mention that one as a good one =( But hopefully this years will be great =)

    Hugs from Lilli =)

  15. Love the twine, but haven't had a chance to play with any yet. My favorite valentine dinner was the first one my husband to be and I shared in Tucson, Arizona where we went to the Maverick and two-stepped the night away.

  16. I love the "little extra" that twine adds, but haven't been able to find any locally (only online)so I would really love to win some.
I don't really have a favorite Valentine's date, but I do remember some special gifts, and they're still shining in my jewelry box ;)

  17. I haven't used twine yet, but I have been dying to. I don't really have or remember a best V-day date. Sad eh.
Thanks for the chance to win some yummy twine.

  18. Haha I have the best- worst Valentine's date story! It wasn't with my current boyfriend but the one before- I should have broken up with him right then! I bought him a build-a-bear dressed in a colts' outfit with him name embroider in the back- I really took some time and effort into. He came over to my place gave me a gift bag with 3 lip glosses in it. Okay not the greatest but whatever... then he told me he had no money to take me out to dinner. He left. A whole 20 minutes with my boyfriend on Valentine's. I ended up going out to eat with my girlfriends. The next day I came down with the flu :(

  19. My best Valentine date is when me and my husband go out to dinner by ourselves...hoping it can happen this year too. ;)
aidensmom 2005 at aol dot com

  20. Oh, I've always wanted to use twine on a card, but never had any. My favorite Valentine was when my hubby and I lived in Japan. Office workers always go out for drinks after work, but my sweetie said No, my wife is coming and we're going out to dinner. The next day all the girls in his office were in love with him!!!!

  21. I love twine!!! My best Valentine with my hubby was last year when he gave me this really pretty ring that I had my eye on for a long time. I guess its like mesh with little diamonds...if that makes sense. :)
I was soooooooooooo happy... Well he always does a great job all year long.... Thanks for the chance to win.

  22. I would love to win some twine, with all these great projects here in blog land. I don't really have a memorable Valentines day, which is kinda sad. Though I remember my first valentine's I received. My chair had already been put on in band class and on it was a stuffed animal with a rose asking "would you be mine?" It was the sweetest thing ever.

  23. Love the celephane package you made! Soo cute. My favorite Valentine's Day date was when my husband made a wonderful dinner for me, complete with wine, candles and flowers. It was really romantic.

  24. We always celebrate Valentines day as a family. We go out to dinner and do small gifts to each other. It is always fun!

  25. my best valentine's date was a couple years ago.. my husband and I were in FL (he had work) and we went to a little island (not a Key) and sat on the beach.. we were gonna snorkel but it was too foggy out so it wouldn't have worked well... Olive Garden for dinner :) Thanks for the chance to win.

  26. I just ordered some! Can't wait to try it. My best Valentine's date? What's that? I am slaving in the kitchen making his favorite dinner and German Chocolate cake. Don't forget cleaning the house cause it's a birthday party at my house for my hubby, who shot me through the heart with his love arrow, 16 years ago. LOL Thanks Norma, gave you a shout out on my blog. Check it out! ;0)

  27. Super Cute project. And would lokve to play with some twine. My best v-day, so far, was the year I had Lasik. I know it sounds unconventional but I was on Cloud 9 that day. It was a very special & historic day for me.
    Jess M :)

  28. thanks norma you are just giving us so favorite valentine date was when we wore looking for a restaurant that feb 14. my parents and my hubby and i had no luck to be seated soon at any restaurnt and the men wore pretty hungry so we ended at pollo loco. it so memorable because i was spending time with the ones i love at a fast food restaurant on a date like this.

  29. Hi Norma!! Sounds like you had a great workshop - how fun!!! Sorry I missed it...will be there for the next one :) My best valentine's day was the very first one my hubby and I had together (when we were dating!) It was pouring rain, but despite that, I remember we had a great time since we got all dressed up, too! :)

  30. Oooh, I'd love to win some of that twine. Been dyin to try it out! my best Valentine's date memory is actually with my ex-husband. It was our first Valentine's and we got all dressed up and went to a beautiful restaurant in the mountains and sat by the fire and had the best creme brulee I've ever had. It was so beautiful and romantic. I'll never forget it!

  31. Well, I've never ever went on a date for v-day. During my college career, I worked as a server in a fine-dining restaurant, and Valentine's day is a good $$ making day...

  32. Funny you should mention you want a chocolate lab....Due to old age we put down our yellow lab. We tried for 6 months to live without a dog but we couldn't do it....Hubby again found us the most adorable chocolate lab. We call her Hershey as per my sons request... couldn't live without her...thanks for stopping by my blog. I'm just a newbie so all this card making and blogging is a whole new world.

  33. AWESOME giveaway. I'm sorry but i don't have a favorite Valentine's Day since we really do anything special

  34. Ooooooo, I've been wanting to try twine! I sure hope you pick my name! :)

Every Valentines Day that I have to spend with my husband is a wonderful one...even if it means just sitting on the couch with the kids watching a movie!

  35. Love your cute packagaing for the twine!! Glad you had your first workshop. I actually attended 2 this weekend as well. Did you just become an SU Demonstrator?? It has crossed my mind SEVERAL times. But that is another story. Hmmmm.. best V-Day date ever?? Well.. my B-day is 2 days prior... so I get spoiled for usually 4 days straight! But have to say... I simply love it when my Husband makes his fabulous Sausage Fettucine dish.. all from scratch... I watch him with a glass of wine in hand...we chit chat.. hang out and then watch a movie together after the kids are in bed. Funny how kiddos can drastically change your plans of an idea of a romantic evening. :-) One year we did get away to the Oregon Coast. Just the 2 of us.

  36. I have been wanting twine for awhile. Thanks for the chance to win!
    ra6352 (at) gmail (dot) com

  37. Well..My best Valentine's Day was when my husband made a huge card with the kids using their feet and hands. He used their little cubby hands to form a heart! :) This is a HUGE thing since my husband is not "romatic" in anyway!?!? It's a card that I will treasure forever!! I love your blog...thanks for the opportunity and for sharing your ideas/talent!!

  38. love the twine. I cant remember a special valentine. but I do recieve something every year. which is nice. thanks for the give a way

  39. This twine is awesome! My best Valentine's date, my Husband and I went to a restaurant and ordered the sweetheart dessert and it was the most amazing best dessert I have ever had in my life! it was just a huge plate of yummyness!

  40. I have a blogger award for you over at my blog! Enjoy!

    TOri xx

  41. That is awesome! I every valentines day has had something memorable to me. My husband always does something special.

  42. I've been seeing this bakers string everywhere.. It's so adorable.. I must get my hands on some.. LOL. Love your little baggies!!!

  43. Awesome giveaway! Favorite Valentine's husband and I have been married for nearly 20 years, I can't think of a time that we actually went out on a date since we had children!

  44. OMG girl I had a blast cracking up and crafting with everyone!!!! I hope we can do it again soon. Thanks again for the invite!!!!

  45. I don't have a best Valentine's Day. :( I do have a worst one though. One year (back when I was single) I was asked out on a date for Valentine's Day. I was super excited. He picked me up and took me to his church. We went in and the men sat on one side and the women and children sat on the other. I was WAY over dressed (a little black dress) and knew absolutely no one. There was a message during the dinner. I sat for 2 hours listening about how the world was coming to an end. This was a second date. On the first date he took me to "Toy Story". (Not what I would call a 1st date movie.) He also brought me a pineapple because he had overheard me and my friend talking about it being my favorite fruit the night we met. Needless to say there was not a 3rd date.

  46. Great giveaway! I love using my top note for gift bags! It is my most popular shower favor everyone orders! I would love to receive one I didn't make myself!! My husband and I go to a local church dinner every year! It is put on by the youth group and my most memorable one would have to be the year we sat next to the coffee maker. One of the moms kept trying to make a pot of coffee and everytime she would start it, one of the kids would grab it and take it to a table to fill up someones cup! Everytime I looked, the coffe was spilling all over so I kept grabbing a new pot and setting it on! I finally told the mom what was going on and we all had a good laugh about it!

  48. How exciting for your 1'st workshop... I first ordered Stampin up products this past year and loved them... I am thinking about joining the team of Stampin up but don't know the in's and out's of the workshops etc... and the fear of people in my area not being familiar with the product.. thus no luck.. guess it's all fears but I'm up for the challenge. Love your blog.. it is awesome... I'm a new follower....I just start my blog and I'm trying to get the hang of it all... not sure how sponores or giveways all work.. if you don't mind, I'd love any tips you have to share.

My best date ever... on my 2nd month of dating my husband.. He took me to a wonderful restaurant and bought me a beautiful heart necklace and send me dozen red roses to work.

I love to read your comments! Thank you for taking the time to comment dear crafty friends:)
