  1. WOW, awesome, i've seen bloggers use that twine and it just adds a great detail to projects. TFS!
Best valentine date... my hubby made reservations at a italian restaurant and had a single rose delivered ahead of time for our table. We had a great date night and surprised me with a puppy that was my favorite breed. A yellow lab....ahhhh just thinking about it makes me weepy....www.canadiancraftcorner.blogspot.com

  3. Great project. I too have been wanting to get some twine after seeing others use on their cards. I love the look of it and the colour it adds. Unfortunately I do not have a best valentines date as I haven't had one before but its understandable seeing as I'm still a teenager!! Lol!

  11. Hi Norma,
I was looking for some twine yesterday; couldn't find any, so would love to win some. One year, my hubby sent roses to me at work for Valentine's day and they were the most beautiful peach color ones I've ever seen, and the card read, "You're a peach! Happy Valentine's Day"

  12. Norma - sounds like you had a fab time at the workshop. The twine set is brilliant. My best Valentine's date actually took place on 15th Feb! It's the first time I met my husband - we met via Dateline - it was fantastic. He's my best friend, lover, soul mate and companion - and I wouldn't be without him!! And we didn't stop talking all night!

  13. My best Valentine's Day is spent with my favorite little man, my son, Brady. We always do fondue for dinner and homemade brownies for dessert...delish!

  15. Love the twine, but haven't had a chance to play with any yet. My favorite valentine dinner was the first one my husband to be and I shared in Tucson, Arizona where we went to the Maverick and two-stepped the night away.

  16. I love the "little extra" that twine adds, but haven't been able to find any locally (only online)so I would really love to win some.
I don't really have a favorite Valentine's date, but I do remember some special gifts, and they're still shining in my jewelry box ;)

  18. Haha I have the best- worst Valentine's date story! It wasn't with my current boyfriend but the one before- I should have broken up with him right then! I bought him a build-a-bear dressed in a colts' outfit with him name embroider in the back- I really took some time and effort into. He came over to my place gave me a gift bag with 3 lip glosses in it. Okay not the greatest but whatever... then he told me he had no money to take me out to dinner. He left. A whole 20 minutes with my boyfriend on Valentine's. I ended up going out to eat with my girlfriends. The next day I came down with the flu :(

  20. Oh, I've always wanted to use twine on a card, but never had any. My favorite Valentine was when my hubby and I lived in Japan. Office workers always go out for drinks after work, but my sweetie said No, my wife is coming and we're going out to dinner. The next day all the girls in his office were in love with him!!!!

  22. I would love to win some twine, with all these great projects here in blog land. I don't really have a memorable Valentines day, which is kinda sad. Though I remember my first valentine's I received. My chair had already been put on in band class and on it was a stuffed animal with a rose asking "would you be mine?" It was the sweetest thing ever.

Don't forget cleaning the house cause it's a birthday party at my house for my hubby, who shot me through the heart with his love arrow, 16 years ago. LOL Thanks Norma, gave you a shout out on my blog. Check it out! ;0)

  27. Super Cute project. And would lokve to play with some twine. My best v-day, so far, was the year I had Lasik. I know it sounds unconventional but I was on Cloud 9 that day. It was a very special & historic day for me.

We tried for 6 months to live without a dog but we couldn't do it....Hubby again found us the most adorable chocolate lab. We call her Hershey as per my sons request... couldn't live without her...thanks for stopping by my blog. 35. Love your cute packagaing for the twine!! Glad you had your first workshop. I actually attended 2 this weekend as well. Did you just become an SU Demonstrator?? It has crossed my mind SEVERAL times. But that is another story. Hmmmm.. best V-Day date ever?? Well.. my B-day is 2 days prior... so I get spoiled for usually 4 days straight! But have to say... I simply love it when my Husband makes his fabulous Sausage Fettucine dish.. all from scratch... I watch him with a glass of wine in hand...we chit chat.. hang out and then watch a movie together after the kids are in bed. Funny how kiddos can drastically change your plans of an idea of a romantic evening. :-) One year we did get away to the Oregon Coast. Just the 2 of us.

I love your blog...thanks for the opportunity and for sharing your ideas/talent!!

  45. I don't have a best Valentine's Day. :( I do have a worst one though. One year (back when I was single) I was asked out on a date for Valentine's Day. I was super excited. He picked me up and took me to his church. We went in and the men sat on one side and the women and children sat on the other. I was WAY over dressed (a little black dress) and knew absolutely no one. There was a message during the dinner. I sat for 2 hours listening about how the world was coming to an end. This was a second date. On the first date he took me to "Toy Story". (Not what I would call a 1st date movie.) He also brought me a pineapple because he had overheard me and my friend talking about it being my favorite fruit the night we met. Needless to say there was not a 3rd date.

  46. Great giveaway! I love using my top note for gift bags! It is my most popular shower favor everyone orders! I would love to receive one I didn't make myself!! My husband and I go to a local church dinner every year! It is put on by the youth group and my most memorable one would have to be the year we sat next to the coffee maker. One of the moms kept trying to make a pot of coffee and everytime she would start it, one of the kids would grab it and take it to a table to fill up someones cup! Everytime I looked, the coffe was spilling all over so I kept grabbing a new pot and setting it on! I finally told the mom what was going on and we all had a good laugh about it!

  48. How exciting for your 1'st workshop... I first ordered Stampin up products this past year and loved them... I am thinking about joining the team of Stampin up but don't know the in's and out's of the workshops etc... and the fear of people in my area not being familiar with the product.. thus no luck.. guess it's all fears but I'm up for the challenge. Love your blog.. it is awesome... I'm a new follower....I just start my blog and I'm trying to get the hang of it all... not sure how sponores or giveways all work.. if you don't mind, I'd love any tips you have to share.

My best date ever... on my 2nd month of dating my husband.. He took me to a wonderful restaurant and bought me a beautiful heart necklace and send me dozen red roses to work.
