Thoughts of You

Hello Friends,
WOW! unbelievable how fast this week flew by, pretty crazy huh?? OMG! it's so HOT HOT!!! here in Southern California, lucky for me I'm staying cool at work with the AC full blast!! We're drinking lots of water, ice cream and pops to stay cool this weekend for sure:)

Today's card is a card that we made for last Saturday's workshop at Josette's house.  I did have nine new stampers for the class and  so I wanted to keep it simple with the Mixed Bunch stamp set and the coordinating blossom punch for an easy card.  The focus at the workshop was Dry and Heat embossing and they ABSOLUTELY loved the embossing buddy item#103083 buy it HERE!

I totally forgot to take pictures of the cards and so I duplicated this card to share with you.  This card was inspired by a swap I received at convention this past January from Michelle Halleen one of my Stampin' Up! Uplines.

Thank you for visiting and have a fantastic weekend!!!

A close up to show you the GORGEOUS embossing using the Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder, my all time FAVORITE embossing folder!
At my workshop we heat embossed the sentiment and used the modern label punch with the word window punch. The ladies had their choice of ribbon to use, I used this retired ribbon for this card since I really LOVE it and have lots to use and it was perfect to bring out the designer series paper "TwitterPad"
