Happy Friday everyone! 
Do you all have plans for this weekend?  Well, I don't have much planned but golf with my son and maybe a movie.

Let's get to my card for today:) It's a simple but I think a lovely card using the "Backyard Basics Stamp" for the butterfly and the Loving Thoughts for that lovely sentiment.  Notice the different method of my photo taking?  Well, I always find it hard to photograph my white cards so, I thought I would photograph it outside.  What do you all think?

The butterfly is from the "Backyard Basics Stamp Set" which has a die set that die cuts the images perfectly. I then colored the butterfly  with the Tempting Turquoise Stampin' Up! Marker.

I hope you are all off to a great week! I'm pretty busy this week with some full days of work and now with my son's soccer practice twice a week for a club team and not to mention his golf practice twice a week:) 

OK, so I finally was able to finish the video for this card on 2-step stamping using the Stippled Blossoms Stamp Set but, I'm having a hard time downloading it to YouTube errr.....  I hope to have it up later today HERE and I hope you will check it out and subscribe if you haven't already.

My base measures 4-1/4 X 5-1/2"

Elegant Eggplant 4-1/8 X 5-3/8"

White top layer 3-3/4" X 5"

When 2-step stamping you always want to start with a light ink color and a dark ink color, always stamp the full image with the light color first then stamp the second image using the darker color.  For precise position you might want to use a Stamp-a-ma-jig but as you saw on my video HERE it's not really necessary.

My card today is a simple one to showcase that lovely Designer paper from the Sale-A-Bration catalog that I got for FREE with my $50 order.  You can check out my video HERE with details.

Make sure to die cut the scallop heart using the Hearts a Flutter Framelits die and then place a piece of Sweet Sorbet Designer Paper behind the heart before you adhere the Crumb Cake layer to the Basic Black Layer.  

I heat embossed the "Happiness" with Stampin' Basic Black emboss powder, a little hard to see from this photo:)

Today's card was totally inspired by a card Shelly Gardner created on stage using the Flower Trim and doillie.  The sample boards over at Stampin' Up! Leadership 2013 also had some amazing samples using the Doillies and so I thought I would give it a go:) 

I of course had to order the lovely "Flower Trim" item#126869 after I saw Shelly use the Flower Trim and Tea Lace Doillie. You should head on over and check out Shelly's blog here for all the lovely cards she has created using these products.Thank you for stopping by and I hope you enjoyed today's card!

Check out that lovely Flower Trim! You can dye the trim with our Re-inkers and imagine the possibilities, you know I will be using the trim a lot more! I also sprayed on the Basic Gray with our Color Spritzer Tool and stamped the Tea Lace Dollie with the image from the Tea Shoppe stamp set and the sentiment is from the stamp set Loving Thoughts.

I added the pearls for some interest on the embossed flowers and the layered butterflies  are available to purchase at my online store HERE.  I hope you liked it:)
