Today is our challenge over at Decorate to Celebrate. For Challenge #78, we are asking you to create Fourth of July or Birthday Decorations! Let's celebrate EVERYTHING WONDERFUL ABOUT FIREWORKS, SPARKLERS, FREEDOM or BIRTHDAYS. I created these mini notebooks that would be perfect to pass out in any girlie Birthday party goodie bag.

I was inspired to create these cute mini notebooks after watching a 

video by Nicole. These are very easy and quick to put together. You 

could also make many of these at a birthday party with each guest 

initials that attended and put in their goodie bags!

Stampin' Up!'s  Moonlight Paper Stack is perfect to make these 

mini notebooks since they measure 4-1/2 X 6-1/2.  Take one sheet 

and fold it in half and round the corners on all four sides. Take some 

copy paper and cut as many as you would like at 3-3/8 X 4-3/8 and 

round all the corners. You can either staple the paper to the cover or 

sew them like I did on mine.  I hope you liked them:)

Hello Friends!

I apologize for my absence but we had our last mini vacation before school starts and I have been busy getting back to my workout routine etc... I did catch up a bit visiting some of you and I will visit more of you later today.  Thank you for your continued support and all the lovely comments!!!

Today is challenge #58 for Decorate to Celebrate and we are asking you to create a back to School project but no cards.  I created a mini box to hold those paper clips that always seem to be everywhere. I added a cute 3D apple created with the Stampin' Up! heart punch, more details below.  I can't wait to see what you create!!

For the apple I punched 18 hearts and cut of the bottom tip and adhered the hearts back to back after folding them in half.  I also sponged the apple with Real Red and Old Olive.

I used the Matchbox which is retired but one of my favorites since it's super easy to put together.  I wish I would of had some red paper clips which would of been perfect but of course I had some PINK ones LOL!!  You can check out a card I made with this 3D apple HERE

Today's card is a Valentine's card using the Stampin' Up! Bird Builder Punch and the Hearts a Flutter Stamp set.  As you may all haven seen lately, I've been on a WHITE card stock craze and I have been loving the simplicity of my cards!  Today's card is no different and the pop of Real Red sure makes it lovely don't you think???

A close up of the two LOVE BIRDS hee hee:)  The base of 

course is all Whisper White with a pop of Real Red.  I also used the Hearts a Flutter Stamp set and cut out the hearts but you could use the dies that are sold separately to match the stamp set.

The hearts and the Whisper White layer are popped up with 

some Stampin' dimensionals.  The sentiment is the the Loving Thoughts Stamp set and was stamped using the Gray Momento Ink.

Welcome to all my new followers and Happy Friday,  I hope you are all getting ready for the weekend! I'm super excited for this weekend since Hubby and I are going out to dinner to a very nice restaurant for our 12th Wedding Anniversary! 

If you were wondering how hubby and I met well it was a blind date that my sister set up.  We have been inseparable ever since our first date.  He is TRULY an AMAZING generous man, son and father! I'm very lucky to have him in my life. I can honestly and really say he is my best friend of 14 years and counting...  I'll share the card I made for him next week.

Isn't that tiny sentiments sweet?? They are from a "NEW" stamp set called Lovely Little Labels item#126262 very cute stamp set.  The flowers are from our trio punch set called Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack.  I've also embossed the Pool Party CS with our Fancy Fan Folder and of course used our popular Bird Builder punch for the branch and bird.
