I've been pretty busy but I wanted to share this quick card I created using some punches. I LOVE simple cards but sometimes I have a hard time with them because I always want to add more and more.

I punched a couple of flowers from the Fun Flower Punch 

and I layered them to add the scallop and sentiment on top. 

Pretty cute right?  

I of course used my favorite banner punch to add a little something something to the corner along with some Silver Cording.

Happy Summer!! What do you all think of when Summer comes around your neck of the woods?? Well, I think of POPSICLES especially since we always had them when I was a kid:)  

I wanted to enter Rhonda's Challenge over at Scrap Happens which is to create a project with anything about summer. I just knew I had to use the Mouthwatering retired Stampin' Up! Stamp Set for this challenge.  I also used the sketch from Pals Paper Arts check it out below.

I added some Crystal Effect to the Popsicle but it wasn't dry for this picture, I was a little inpatient LOL!!  The Whisper White circle was embossed using the Modern Mosaic Textured Impressions Folder.

The sentiment is from the Fabulous Phrases stamped on the 1" Circle and then layered under the 1-1/4" Scallop Circle and I added some Rhinestones.

Happy Friday and are you all ready for the long weekend?? We are so ready even though we are staying in town and catching a couple of movies and hanging out around town.  What are your plans for the weekend, please share:)

Today's card is from a sketch from Cas(E) this Sketch challenge which is super simple and fun!  Thank you for stopping by today and enjoy your long weekend!!

I used the Elements of Style Stamp Set for the background stamping on the Daffodill Delight with VersaMark.  A tip when heat embossing, make sure to use the embossing buddy on the whole base of card stock to  prevent flaking of the embossing powder like on my card:( 

The sentiment is from the Oh, Hello Stamp Set along with the 1-1/4" Scallop Circle punch with the Bitty Butterfly Punch.  Pretty simple don't you think?

WOW! can you believe it's Thursday already, pretty crazy!! I hope you all got a chance to check out my Teacher project HERE and you will enter your project over at Decorate to Celebrate Challenge:)

OK guys, I hope you aren't too tired of me using the Blossom punch but I got inspired to create this card from our Stampin' Success Magazine we demonstrators get every other month and just had to use it again:)  I hope you like it and and get inspired.  Have a fantastic day friends!!

As school is coming to and end, I will be in need of some Thank you card for teachers at school. I thought I would YES, use the blossom punch again LOL!! to create this card with the A Fitting Occasion Stamp Set  and the 1-1/4" scallop circle punch.  I used the Honeycomb textured impression folder for some added texture.

 I love the how pretty the layering looks on the blossom flower and the added button with some twine.  The Teacher sentiment is from Family Reunion Stamp Set.  This card measures 3-1/4 X 6-1/4

Congratulations to the Ravens on their Super Bowl Win!! What did you think of half time?? I loved the performance by Beyonce she jammed didn't she? :) I hope you all had a fantastic weekend and so lets start this week with a non-traditional Valentine's card using some Basic Black and Yellow.

I used some non traditional colors for my Valentine's card today:)  I decided to use some Basic Black and a bright Stampin' Up! retired Yellow and I'm sorry I can't remember the name.  The tickets were stamped using the That's The Ticket Stamp from the Spring Catalog HERE and then punched with the Ticket Duo Punch also available in the Spring Catalog.

The flowers were formed punching two blossoms using the Blossom Punch, I then used the 1-1/4" Scallop punch and the 7/8" Scallop Punch to layer perfectly on top. I also embossed the background with the Elegant Lines Textured Impressions Folder.
