A Piece of Chocolate Cake for Decorate to Celebrate

Hello crafty friends,
Today is the first project for Decorate to Celebrate for 2016 and to celebrate I created a delicious piece of chocolate cake.  I used the Stampin' Up! Cutie Pie Thinlits Dies which is super easy to put together and can you believe this is the first time I have used it? I love it and it has so many dies.

I'm trying to get back into the groove of crafting and catching up and visiting blogs:)  Thank you for stopping by and don't forget to check out the New Stampin' Up! Occasion's 2016 Catalog along with the Sale-A-Bration catalog to Earn FREE products.

A New Year's Card for Friday Mashup Challenge

Hello crafty friends,
I hope you are all ready for the Holidays. I've been a little busy  finishing my shopping and planning my son's 11th birthday party for this Saturday. I do have a project to share for today and I hope you get inspired!

This week's challenge over at Friday Mashup is to create a project using Black, Silver and Gold or a New Year's ever project.  Why not challenge yourself and Mash it Up! and use the colors and a New Year's project and enter it HERE.

This is a super simple card using some Stampin' Up! Silver and Gold Glimmer Paper
because what New Year's card doesn't need some sparkle right??

I used the dotted scalloped retired border punch for the borders and a small star punch for the stars at the bottom.  The card is a standard A2 base with a basic black layers which is 1/4 inch from the base.

This week's Mashup Challenge:

Create a project using the colors Black, Silver and Gold.

Create a project with a New Year theme.
or Mash it Up! and create a project using the colors above and a New Year theme.

Just for You a Paperclip Holder Box

    Hello friends,
Today is Decorate to Celebrate Challenge #94 and I have a lovely box that can be using for paperclips like I have here or for any gift that will fit inside. I used the Irresistibly Yours Specialty Designer Series Paper from the  Sale-A-Bration Catalog which you can earn for FREE with any $50 purchase from my online store. I loved it and I will store my gold paperclips inside for sure:) Take a look at this VIDEO on how to use this fabulous Irresistibly Yours DSP works, you will enjoy the video

I sponged the Irresistibly Yours Specialty Designer Series Paper with the Metallic Gold Encore Pad and I then took a paper towel and wiped it off which the embossed part resisted the gold ink.  I LOVE LOVE this paper and you have to give it a try super easy for the emboss resist technique and you don't have to even heat emboss!!

I added a belly band that I created with the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border Punch and I then punched three of the Pansy flowers and layered on top of each other with some hot glue.  The cute tiny flower come from my friend Karen from a challenge I won a few weeks ago:)

I love the dimension the flowers added to this simple box which, it was super easy to put together.  Even though this matchbox die is discontinued you can certainly create any other box with the paper and flowers.

Mini Gold cards with Heat Embossing

    Hello friends,
I hope you all had a wonderful Valentine's Day and weekend!  It seems that gold is everywhere right now and I'm loving it. For today's project I thought I would showcase a fun stamp set and some gold on some mini cards. I have a video on how to heat emboss on my YouTube channel in case you are interested.

Thank you for stopping by today and enjoy today's project and have a fantastic Monday!

These mini cards measure 3-1/2 X 3-1/4 which I meant to cut
at 3-1/2 all around but I made a boo boo and so, I had to cut
the rest of the cards the same.

I used the "One Tag Fits All" stamp set from Stampin' Up! for the fabulous image and heat embossed it with some Stampin' Up! Gold embossing powder which I have a video on how to emboss on my YouTube channel.
