Cute just got cuter... Happy Birthday Son!

  • Hello friends, Today is a SUPER special day, it's my son's 10th BIRTHDAY! This year he decided to invite about 9 of his close friends and go bowling, laser tag and of course eat his favorite PIZZA, cake and soda only because it's his Birthday. OMG! how fast has he grown, I can remember the day he was born as if it was yesterday:)

I would like to share some photos which will make the post a little picture heavy, I hope you don't mind. I had to make him a card with a dog due to our little Ash-ley that he/we got a few months ago. Enjoy and have a fantastic Friday.  I got my box of goodies yesterday and I can't wait to share!!

This adorable image was a Freebie from All Dressed Up and those paw prints are from a EK Success old stamp.  I heat embossed them with some clear embossing powder. Love that sentiment "Cute just got cuter"

I wanted to make his card fun but yet simple and layers and the
starburst framelits was the way to go. Happy Birthday is from the "Something to Say" stamp set from Stamping' Up!

He was only
4lbs 8 oz when he was born, I think he was a few weeks on this photo.

He was a premature baby and the best  birthday present I ever got, you see he was born a day before my birthday! OMG, what I would give to grab those tiny hands/fingers again:)

Look at those cheeks!!

and Now take a look at my handsome boy all grown up, oh how I LOVE him!! He is the joy of my life.  He is the reason I work so hard at being in 20 different places at the same time and run around like a mad woman just so, I can be involved in every minute of his life, I don't want to miss a single thing. I want him to grow up to be a smart, kind and generous human being.  I Love you my cutie pie!!

Celebrate Best Dad Ever with a Gift Card Holder

Hello crafty friends,
It's time for challenge #77 over at Decorate to Celebrate and the challenge is to create party decorations for Father's Day or a birthday party and enter for a chance to win!

I created a gift card holder using the Gift Card Enclosure pack and a card. Also don't forget to check out my Stampin' Up! Pre-order Haul on my YouTube Channel. Thanks to Amber, I was able to upload one of my three videos on my YouTube Channel as per some of her suggestions. I hope you get inspired and create something special for the father in your life.  Have a fantastic day!!

I used the Gift Card Enclosure to hold my gift card and decorated it with a belly band with the retired Dapper Dad stamp set which I really like and is one stamp  I will keep.  I also used the Starburst Framelits Dies with the 1-3/4" circle pouch which layer perfectly!

The belly band paper is from the Moonlight Designer Series
Pack New in the catalog

The Gift Card Enclosure is great for any gift card for any occasion
and super easy to put together with any embellishments.

I saw a Video on on how to create this card and I had to make one to share with you guys.  I hand drew the tie and cut with my paper snips.

Hello my crafty friends,
Welcome to another challenge over at Decorate to Celebrate.  For Challenge #76, we are asking you to create Graduation Decorations or Birthday!! Let's celebrate EVERYTHING WONDERFUL ABOUT CAPS AND GOWNS AND DIPLOMAS or BIRTHDAYS with your table decorations, party banners, pennants, yard signs, cupcakes, party favors and more!!

Thank you for stopping by today and have a fabulous day!

I found this fun idea from Pinterest from My Paper Cottage , these
are super easy and fast to make.

A side view and with gum balls inside

The top measures 1-1/2" X 1-1/2 and the band around the
tube measures 1" X 3".  I've had these tubes for a long time
and I'm not sure exactly where I bought them, but I found a link
for you to buy them HERE.

These tubes are great for money and even treats.  You can pass these out as favors with candy and give one with money to the graduate
